Kinder/Daycare
At Seawinds we offer a unique structure with both quality long day care and an excellent sessional kindergarten at the same location. Families can access sessional kindergarten programs with the security of wrap-around before and aftercare as well as fabulous holiday programs. We know that the number one difficulty families have when accessing sessional kindergarten programs are the restricted hours/days that often don’t support working parents. At Seawinds, children have the best of both worlds – a quality, fully funded kindergarten program for the two years before school and an excellent long day care program.
Our Programs
Long Day Care
Our high quality long day care program runs from 7.00am – 5.45pm Monday to Friday throughout the year, excepting public holidays and our two-week closure in Dec/Jan. With permanent, consistent staff teams and highly experienced, long-term educators, Seawinds is well-placed to care and educate your child from six months to school-age.
Long day care includes all meals, nappies, wipes and a quality educational program with a focus on security, predictability, children’s voice and input and genuine dedication to the rights and well-being of the child.
Sessional Kindergarten
Facilitated by Bachelor-qualified teachers, Seawinds offers 15 hours of funded kindergarten to 3- and 4-year-olds and from 2026 will offer 18 hours to children eligible for the new Pre-Prep hours.

Mondays & Tuesdays – 8.30am-4.00pm
4-year-old kindergarten
Wednesdays & Thursdays – 8.45am-2.45pm
Fridays – 8.45am-2.45pm
Pre-Prep hours for eligible children
Wednesdays & Thursdays – 8.45am-4.15pm
Fridays – 8.45am-2.45pm
